Bio

실험영화감독 장은주는 2006년 ‘아내들’ 연출을 시작으로 핸드프로세스를 지향하는 필름 작업을 지속적으로 해오고 있으며, 해외 다수의 영화제 초청 및 국내 영화제 등에서도 지속적으로 작품을 선보이고 있다. 2009년 서울독립영화제에서는 ‹교미기 part.2 비밀스런 짐승›으로 코닥상을 수상했다. 이 외에도 필름메이커, 현대무용안무가, 사운드 아티스트로 구성된 ‘Thin Line Project’ 의 소속 작가로 매체간 공동 작업을 통한 전시 및 공연에도 참여 중이다. 현재 함부르크 예술 대학에 재학 중이다.

Experimental film director Eunju Jang (born 06.03.1980 South Korea) has been based on film work that aims at hand process starting from directing 'wives' in 2006 and continues to present works at many film festivals and domestic film festivals overseas. She is also a member of 'Thin Line Project' which is composed of sound artist and filmmaker. She has been living in Germany since 2015 and is studying film at the Hamburg University of the Arts.
