AVP(Audio Visual Performance)는 이미지와 사운드가 실시간 퍼포먼스를 통해 조우하는 시청각 실험의 장이다. 실험영화의 ‘확장영화’ 전통에서 출발하지만, AVP는 그 틀을 넘어서 상영의 조건 자체를 사건화하며 감각의 구성을 새롭게 묻는다. 라이브 사운드, 즉흥적 이미지 조작, 공간과의 상호작용을 통해 하나의 상영은 고정된 결과가 아닌 유동적인 경험으로 재구성된다. 이 프로그램은 퍼포먼스라는 형식을 통해 동시대 시청각 경험의 가능성과 한계를 함께 탐색하고자 한다.
AVP (Audio Visual Performance) is a space for audiovisual experimentation where image and sound meet through real-time performance. While rooted in the tradition of “expanded cinema” within experimental film, AVP goes beyond these boundaries by transforming the conditions of screening into an event that reexamines the construction of sensory experience. Through live sound, improvisational image manipulation, and interaction with space, each screening is reconfigured not as a fixed outcome but as a fluid experience. This program seeks to explore both the possibilities and limitations of contemporary audiovisual experience through the format of performance.
