퍼포먼스와 실험영화의 미학적 관계를 조명하는 프로그램으로 퍼포먼스 기반의 영상 작업을 집중적으로 소개하기 위해 2021년에 신설되었다. 확장영화 실천부터 현재의 작품들까지 다양한 작품을 소개하는 폭넓은 기획을 진행하고 있으며 미술 기반의 퍼포먼스 작업과 접점을 연구할 수 있다. 2026년에는 가이 셔윈(Guy Sherwin), 린 루(Lynn Loo), 류한길, 마크 추아 & 람 리 슈엔(Mark Chua & Lam Li Shuen), 모토코 작가가 라이브로 공연을 선보이며, 스크린, 관객, 어둠 등 영화를 구성하는 물리적인 조건들에 대해 탐구한다.
AVP was established in 2021 to foreground performance-based moving image work and examine the aesthetic relationships between performance and experimental film. The program spans from expanded cinema practices to works being made today, tracing points of contact with performance-based practices in the visual arts. In 2026, Guy Sherwin, Lynn Loo, Ryu Hankil, Mark Chua & Lam Li Shuen, and Motoko present live performances that investigate the physical conditions of cinema itself - the screen, the audience, the dark.
