인도네시아의 보로부두르 지역을 중심으로 하는 자바 불교의 가치와 이상을 일본의 선불견의 정신과 연결시키려는 의도에서 고토는 여러 그림을 종이 위에 올려놓고 프레임 단위로 촬영하였다. 이들 가치는 그래서 양국에서 발생하는 소비주의 행태와 대비되었다. 일본의 경제성장을 나타내는 것은 인도네시아에서 판매되는 일본 공산품 사진이었다. 드로잉과 사진 애니메이션을 결합해서 작가는 소비주의 사회의 본질에 대한 성찰로서 일본 선불교의 눈으로 투사된 ‘무드라 부다 보로보두르'의 이상의 결합을 만들어냈다.
Trying to draw a connection between the values and visions of Buddhism in Java that are centered on Borobudur (Indonesia) and the spirit of Zen Buddhism (Japan), Gotot arranged several paintings on paper and recorded them from frame to frame. These values are then confronted with the behavior of consumerism that occurs in both countries. Japan's expansion was presented through the photos of its industrial products sold in Indonesia; this is the closing sequence of the three that make up the entire film. A mix of animated drawings and photographs that form what the filmmakers describes as “a combination of visions of ‘Mudhra Buddha Borobodur' projected through the eyes of Japanese Zen Buddhism as a reflection upon the nature of consumerist society”.
