파룽의 관통하는 도로는 반둥에서 자카르타로 가기 위해 사람들이 주로 사용하는 길이다. 고토는 자카르타-반둥 고속도로 건설 계획이 파룽선을 쓸모없게 만들 것이라고 예상했다. 그는 이 상황에 대응하려는 의도에서 16mm 카메라를 들고 파룽선을 따라갔다. 그는 자신이 운전하는 버스 전면에 카메라를 달고 파룽선 전체를 운전해가면서 촬영했다. 실제로는 6시간이 걸리는 여정이 스톱 모션 방식으로 15분으로 압축되었다.
The road through Parung was the main route from people heading to Bandung from Jakarta as this time.  Gotot predicted that the government’s plan to build the Jakarta-Bandung Highway will leave the Parung Line deserted.  He responded to this situation by taking his 16mm camera to the Parung Line. Mounting his camera on the front of the bus he rode, he recorded the entire route.  The trip that usually lasts six hours in real life was transformed into a 15 minute trip on film using stop motion.
