Description

There's a traditional belief that after one has built a new house, the owner of the house or his family would have to bear a misfortune. The film was shot at a location where big trees were gathered before being planted in new urban districts. The rooster fight in the film was staged.

새 집을 지은 후에는 집주인이나 그 가족이 불행을 감수해야 한다는 전통적인 믿음이 있다. 이 영화는 새로운 도심 지구에 심기 전, 큰 나무들이 한데 모여 있던 장소에서 촬영되었다. 영화 속 닭싸움 장면은 연출된 것이다.

Bio

Tạ Minh Đức (b. 1991) graduated from the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema in 2014. His works span film, photography and installation. He narrates modern stories based on myths, fragmented histories or folk literature. Tạ Minh Đức shares his contemplations on the alienation of beings and his skepticism about human relationships, the latent violence and domination in modern society.

따 민 득(Tạ Minh Đức, 1991년생)은 2014년 하노이 연극영화대학교를 졸업했다. 영화, 사진, 설치를 아우르는 작업을 통해 신화, 파편화된 역사, 민속 문학을 바탕으로 현대적인 이야기를 풀어낸다. 따 민 득은 존재의 소외, 인간관계에 대한 회의, 현대 사회에 잠재된 폭력과 지배에 대한 성찰을 작업 속에 담아낸다.
