Description

Like a photo book the film creates new images and relationships between the shots, it resembles a journey of impressions where the outlines of the world undulate. Between faith, anarchism and tourism, in Poland or Germany, between simple gestures, everyday life and timeless moments in Portugal, Brazil and Greece. Friends and family, cities and countries. Film as a diary in seven parts.

사진첩처럼 이 영화는 새로운 이미지와 장면 사이의 관계를 만들어내며, 세계의 윤곽이 물결치는 듯한 인상적인 여정을 닮았다. 폴란드 또는 독일에서는 신앙과 무정부주의 그리고 관광, 포르투갈과 브라질, 그리스에서는 단순한 몸짓과 일상, 시간을 초월한 순간을 포착한다. 친구와 가족, 도시와 국가. 일곱 부분으로 구성된 일기 형식의 영화.

Ewelina Rosinska (1987, Poland) holds an MA in Art History and is based in Germany and Portugal. Between 2013 and 2022 she studied at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin (dffb), where she was a member of Ute Aurand's Bolex Workshop. Her Films were screened at Her DOCS in Warsaw, Courtisane Festival in Gent, International Film Festival in Rotterdam IFFR, Musée de la Photographie Charleroi, First Look at Museum of Moving Image in New York or FICUNAM Cinema Festival in Mexico.

에벨리나 로신스카 (Ewelina Rosinska 1987년, 폴란드)는 예술사 석사 학위를 소지하고 독일과 포르투갈을 기반으로 활동하고 있다. 2013년부터 2022년까지 베를린의 독일 영화 및 텔레비전 아카데미(dffb)에서 공부했으며, 우테 아우란트(Ute Aurand)의 보렉스 워크샵(Bolex Workshop)에 소속되었다. 그녀의 영화는 와르샤프라하의 헤르 독스 (Her DOCS)에서, 헨트의 쿠르티잔 영화제 (Courtisane Festival)에서, 로테르담 국제 영화제 (IFFR)에서, 샤를로와 포토그래피 박물관 (Musée de la Photographie Charleroi)에서, 뉴욕 이동 이미지 박물관의 퍼스트 룩 (First Look at Museum of Moving Image)에서, 그리고 멕시코의 FICUNAM 영화제 (FICUNAM Cinema Festival)에서 상영되었다.

Bio

Ute Aurand has been a central figure of Berlin’s experimental film scene since the 1980s and is one the most significant filmmakers active in the diary and portrait tradition today. Born in 1957 in Frankfurt/Main, she studied filmmaking at the Deutsche Film und Fernsehakademie (dffb) From 1979-1985, and from 1980, she has produced her own films. In making her 16mm portraits, she often films her subjects over many years, thereby stressing the inseparability between living and filming for the avant-garde filmmaker. Aurand’s work celebrates the here and now, the people she meets, the places she visits, the very fact of being alive. Her films have been shown at international film festivals and art museums i.a.: Tate Modern, London, Austrian Film Museum; Berlinale (Forum Expanded); TIFF Toronto (Wavelengths); Media City Film Festival; International Film Festival Rotterdam; Harvard Film Archive; Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen; CCCB Barcelona etc.

Ute Aurand has also been active as a curator who consistently introduces films by female directors. From 1990 to 1995, She created the series “Filmarbeiterinnen-Abend” at the Arsenal cinema, Berlin, featuring mostly experimental films made by women. In 1997, she founded the monthly “Filmsamstag” programs with other women filmmakers and curated the program until 2007. She is a founder of the Bolex Workshop at the Berlin Film School (dffb) in 2015.

또한 우테 오란드는 여성 감독의 영화를 꾸준히 소개하는 기획자로서도 왕성한 활동을 이어왔다. 1990년부터 베를린의 아스널 시네마에서 여성 감독들이 제작한 실험영화를 선보인 <영화노동자의 저녁: Filmarbeiterinnen-Abend> (1990-1996)와 <예를 들어, 당신은: Sie zum Beispiel> (1995-96) 등을 기획했고, 1997년 동료 여성 감독들과 함께 월간 상영 프로그램 <영화 토요일: FilmSamstag>을 시작했으며 2007년까지 진행했다. 2015년 그녀는 베를린 필름 학교의 볼렉스 워크숍을 창설했다.
