Description of work

투명한 아세테이트에 오일을 칠한 애니메이션 단편 필름이다. 이 프로젝트는 시적인 순간에 관한 것이다. 하이쿠와 마찬가지로, 그것은 그 측정 기준만으로 정의될 수 없고, 순간은 그 기간에 따라 정의될 수 없다. 순간의 지속시간은 음의 진동과 비슷하며, 음은 우리 몸을 통과하고 공명을 남긴다. 언제 시작되는지 언제 끝날지 모른다. 순간은 녹아 길을 만들지만, 그 길에 흔적을 남긴다. 그 순간은 우리에게 없는 것과 우리에게서 빠져나가는 것 사이에 있기 때문에 시적이다.

Animated short film painted with oil on transparent acetate. This project is about the poetic instant. Just as a Haiku, it cannot be defined as such only by its metric; an instant cannot be defined according to its duration. The duration of an instant is similar to the vibration of a note, it passes through our body and leaves a resonance; we don't know when it starts or when it ends. The moment dissolves and makes way, but leaves a trail in its path. The instant is poetic because it is situated between what we don't have and what is escaping from us.
