이 작업은 아일랜드 풍경의 심장부인 킬데어의 고대 토탄 늪지대인에서 제작되었다.

섬의 중앙을 향하는 앨런의 늪.

여기, 장소로서의 풍경에 직접 작업하고, 그것과 그것의 일부처럼 더 밀접하게 작업한다.

더러운 고인 물 속으로 빠지는 행위는 짧지만 매우 실재하며, 그 라이브 작업의 순간은 직접적인 실시간으로 만들어진다. 생기있는 예술.

신체는 신체와 행위를 위치시키는 풍경의 장소로서 반전된다.

이 신체의 몰락은 리허설 없이 이루어진다.

<늪 속으로>의 지저분한 물은 경제적 실패와 몰락을 은유하며 현재까지 악화중인 세계 경제를 나타낸다.

This work made in the heartlands of the Irish landscape in the ancient peat Bog-lands of Kildare.

 INTO THE MIRE a metaphor for dirty water representing economic failures and downfall representing the deteriorating world economies then to now.
