<분할 표현>은 작곡가 럭스 프리마와 시각예술가인 막스 하틀러의 협업작품으로, 시청각적 반복과 뒤틀림을 탐색했다. 하틀러는 럭스 프리마가 창조한 반복에 기반한 아날로그 음향을 해석해 이미지를 만들었다. <분할 표현>은 구성주의와 파울 클레의 바우하우스 가르침으로 부터 컴퓨터 애니메이션의 선구자인 존 휘트니의 중요한 작품 <매트릭스>와 같은 작품의 영향을 받았다. 이 작품에는 홍콩시티대학의 크리에이티브 미디어 학부의 16명의 학생들로 구성된 팀이 참여했으며, 음악은 럭스 프리마의 이스트 런던의 스튜디오에서 제작했다.

Divisional Articulations is a collaboration between composer Lux Prima and visual artist Max Hattler, and explores audio-visual repetition and distortion. The images represent Hattler’s interpretation of the fuzzy analogue loop-based music created by Lux Prima. Sound and image collide in an electronic feedback loop. Divisional Articulations draws on influences ranging from constructivism and Paul Klee's Bauhaus teachings to computer animation pioneer John Whitney’s seminal film experiment Matrix III (1972). The film was directed by Max Hattler and animated by a team of 16 students at City University of Hong Kong's School of Creative Media. The music was created in Lux Prima’s studio in East London.
