Now and There, Here and Then (2018)에서 다른 시공간에 사는 엄마와 딸은 두 개의 하늘을 만든다. 5000마일의 거리와 9시간의 시차가 압축되어 겹겹이 쌓인 디지털 프레임은 천체의 시간을 담음으로써 지리적의 거리감을 상기시킨다. 납작해진 세상은 두 사람의 대화를 통해 또 다른 차원을 발견한다.
In Now and There, Here and Then (2018), a mother and daughter in different times and zones create two skies. 5000 miles and 9 hours of time difference are compressed within a single channel video. Layers of digital frames capture celestial times reminding us of the geographical distance. Flattened worlds find another dimension through a conversation between the two.

Bio
박선주는 서울과 런던에 활동하고 있다. 보스턴 에머슨 칼리지에서 비주얼과 미디어 아트를, 런던 골드스미스에서 아티스트 필름을 공부했다. 양가적 구조의 경계와 한계를 재배치하거나 변형시켜 이도 저도 아닌 상태의 부산물을 만든다.
Sun Park is a South Korean artist based in Seoul and London. She studied Visual & Media Art at Emerson College in Boston and MA Artists Film & Moving Image at Goldsmiths in London. She alters and rearranges a perimeter and limitation of ambivalent structure to create the byproduct of being foreign in anywhere.
