이 영화는 전시이자 쇼인 ‘알레이나 카다브라’의 일부분으로 만들어졌다. 이는 여러 테크닉이 결합된 전형적인 카룽 방식의 작품이다. 어지러운 이미지와 사운드의 몽타주 속에 서구 문명과 복지사회에 대한 카룽의 비판적 시각이 담겨있다. 1983년 Museum of Modern Art의 카탈로그 ‘Nordic Film’은 알리에나 카다브라를 ‘고대시대 반대편 약쟁이의 관능과 좌절된 규율주의 사이에서 오르내리는 자유롭지 않은 테크노포르노변태에 관한 전시’라는 암호와 같은 말로 표현하였다.
This film was made as part of the exhibition and show Aliena Kadabra. It is made in a mixed technique, typical of Karlung’s way of working. In a dizzying montage of image and sound, Karlung aims his blows at Western civilization and welfare society. ‘Nordic Film’, the 1983 catalog of the Museum of Modern Art describes Aliena Kadabra in this cryptic fashion: ‘about unfree TechnoPornoSwine in their ancient opposite-the fluctuation between a Narcopathic Sensualism and frustrated Disciplinism’.
