Description

Monami Oil Magic (aka Korean sharpie) creates magic in the 16mm world. After switching colors back and forth, the piece unexpectedly comes together.

16mm의 세계에서 유성매직이 일어나고, 색깔을 바꿔보다가 얼떨결에 작업이 완성된다.

Bio

Seoyoung Cho produces various works printed and projected. She focuses on typography and filmmaking, especially to the works related to the cinema. Visually, her work balances bold gestures with delicate touches, combining confident structures with exquisite details. Alongside individual projects like publications, she works with collective formats such as film festivals and creating videos. She is now based in Seoul.

조서영은 종이와 빛 위에서 다양한 작업을 진행합니다. 그래픽 편집디자인과 실사영상을 주로 다루며, 특히 영화나 영화에 대한 작업을 두루두루 합니다. 대범하면서 아기자기한, 시원시원하면서 섬세한 작업을 지향하며, 독립 출판부터 영상 촬영과 영화제 기획까지, 개인 작업과 더불어 다양한 사람과 협업해왔습니다. 현재는 서울을 기반으로 활동하고 있습니다.
