Description

Wanting to fit more images onto a 100ft roll, I masked different parts of the lens and exposed the same roll three times. I filmed my grandmother, a neighbouring department store, public transport, and scratched text directly onto the film. The result became my first experimental film, Untitled One, which also got me into the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

100피트 필름 한 롤에 더 많은 이미지를 담고 싶어서 렌즈의 서로 다른 부분을 마스킹한 뒤 같은 필름을 세 번 노광했다. 할머니와 이웃 백화점, 대중교통을 촬영했고, 필름 위에 직접 글자를 긁어 새기기도 했다. 그렇게 탄생한 결과물이 나의 첫 번째 실험영화 《무제 1》이었고, 이 작품 덕분에 시카고 예술대학교(SAIC)에 입학할 수 있었다.
