Description

"The more we recall, the more we inscribe" The word "inscribed" inspired me to imagine the action of finely chopping, and I attempted to subdivide the memory in time and space by repeating and multiplying the still photos. With each inscription, the memory will be subtly reshaped and beautified, but eventually it will be lost, leaving only a single sensation.

"기억할수록 더 많이 새긴다" "새기다"라는 말은 잘게 쪼개는 행위를 상상하게 했고, 스틸 사진을 반복하고 곱함으로써 기억을 시공간적으로 세분화하려 했다. 새겨질 때마다 기억은 미묘하게 재형성되고 미화되지만, 결국에는 사라지고 단 하나의 감각만 남게 될 것이다.

Bio

Anna Fujii, born in 1993 in Tokyo, JP. Graduated from MassArt, MA, US and Image Forum Film School, Tokyo, JP. I, Anna Fujii, make experimental / documentaryish film/video works which are inspired by records of daily something and current little life events as a spice. Coming up screening would be at Bali International Short Film Festival MINIKINO FILM WEEK 9, 2023.

후지이 안나는 1993년 일본 도쿄에서 태어났다. 미국 매사추세츠주 매스아트와 일본 도쿄 이미지포럼 필름 스쿨을 졸업했다. 나, 후지이 안나는 일상의 기록과 현재의 소소한 삶의 사건에서 영감을 얻어 실험적/다큐멘터리적인 영화/비디오 작품을 만든다. 2023년 9월 9일 발리국제단편영화제 MINIKINO FILM WEEK 9에서 작품을 상영할 예정이다.
