이 영화는 기하학적으로 구조화된 죽음의 가면(죽음의 형상을 한 무서운 인간적 생각중 하나)이 배치되어 있다. 정교하게 프레임 단위로 인화과정을 거치면서 하나 하나의 프레임이 디졸브되어 “풀-백”(빠져 나오는 듯한 효과) 효과가 프린터에서 발생되었는데 이는 마치 삶의 화학적 물질로 끈적이는 점성이 있는 필름 가닥을 공간에서 보는 것과 같다. 영화의 이런 “흐름” 위에 흐릿한 인간의 이미지가 잠깐 중첩되어 등장하고, 지속되는 디졸브 속에서 스크린은 이미지를 재흡수하고 이윽고 창백한 보라색 먼지로 녹아내리는 “분광”된 빛에는 짧은 시각적 “내쉼”이 있다. 아마도 성운, 지구적이면서 우주적인 어떤 유사점과 “신의 운명” 처럼 미궁과도 같은. 샘 부쉬와의 협업으로 완성되었다.

The hand-painting of this film is interrupted by, and interspersed with, a geometrically structured Mask of Death (one of those frightening human idea-shapes of dying) immediately caught-up in threads of streaming, polarized crystals of Light (elaborately step-printed, with simultaneous frame-to-frame dissolves and printer "pull-backs" creating an effect as if the room in which the film is being viewed was inhaling viscous strands of Life's chemical material). The blurred photo-image of a person appears briefly superimposed on these "streamings": then there is a short visual "exhale" of this "crystallized" light, as the screen appears to reabsorb its imagery and resolve itself into a pale violet scattering of dust, is it? ... a nebulae, perhaps - i.e., some semblance both earthly and cosmic and (as such) as enigmatic as "the face of God."
