핀란드의 엔지니어 에릭 타이거스테트는 1차 세계대전 전에 이미 필름 위의 사운드에 관한 딜레마를 해결했다. 이 작품은 1914년에 타이거스 테트의 테스트 결과 중 현재 남아 있는 필름에서 이미지와 사운드를 사용해 완성되었다.

Finnish engineer Eric Tigerstedt solved the dilemma of sound-on-film already before World War I. All images and sounds in this film are produced from the surviving test materials originally created in 1914.
