<라오메데이아>는 다른 차원으로 펼쳐지는 공간의 변화를 회화적으로 표현한 영상으로, 비선형적인 구조로 전개되는 실험적인 비디오이다. 영상 속 움직이는 형상들의 유기적인 흐름을 바탕으로 해양 풍경과 우주공간 사이를 추상적으로 그린다.
Laomedeia is an experimental video that travels through transitional spaces, which continuously unfold into different dimensions in a nonlinear trajectory. The migrating elements, such as water, birds, and trains, allow the viewer to navigate between painterly compositions of oceanic landscapes and cosmic spaces.

Bio
문유진은 보스턴을 중심으로 활동하는 아티스트이자 실험영화 작가이다. 매사추세츠 예술대학(MassArt)에서 회화과 석사학위와 필름/비디오 전공으로 석사학위를 받았다. 2016년 deCordova 뉴잉글랜드 비엔날레에 선정되었으며, 앤아버 영화제, 함부르크 국제단편영화제, 서울국제뉴미디어페스티벌 등 국내외 영화 페스티벌과 뮤지엄에서 상영하였다. 작품 <io>는 제 12회 서울국제실험영화제에서 Korean EXiS Award를 수상하였다.
Youjin Moon is a visual artist and experimental filmmaker based in Boston. Moon holds MFAs in Painting and Film/Video from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She has shown her work at national and international film festivals and exhibitions, including the 2016 deCordova New England Biennial, Hamburg International Short Film Festival, and the 56th Ann Arbor Film Festival. She received the Korean EXiS Award at the 12th Seoul International Experimental Film and Video Festival.
