이 작품은 현실 속 한 개인에게 동시에 존재하는 두 가지 서로 다른 의식 세계의 생성에 대한 질문을 던진다. 개인들 우연한 만남에 관해 내 자신의 유년시절 경험을 토대로 우화적 이미지를 사용해 영상을 표현했다. 1970-80년대 TV 만화영화의 캐릭터와 당시 아이들 사이에 유행했던 놀이를 이용한 영상작품을 통해서 한 개인에게 존재하는 여러 층위의 의식과 무의식의 충돌을 보여주고자 했다. 또한 동시에 사회와 매스미디어, 이를 받아들이는 개인의 관계에 대한 고민을 함께 드러내어 잠재의식 속에 놓여있는 개인과 사회의 관계가 표상하는 '한 세대의 표식'을 이야기 하고자 한다.
Through this work, I wanted to ask one individual in the real world about the creation of two different consciousness worlds and their meaning. As for the accidental encounters of individuals, I used fable images to express the images based on my own childhood experiences. Through the characters of TV animation in the 1970s and 1980s and video works using play among children at that time, I wanted to show conflicts of consciousness and unconsciousness that existed in an individual. At the same time, I also want to talk about the 'one generation of signs' in which the relationship between the individual and the society underlying the subconscious is represented by the agony of society, mass media and the individual accepting it.
