Description

An indoor rower on a rowing machine pulls the handle, moving the film forward. The work connects the athlete’s bodily sensation of rowing through time with the tactile imagery of film.

로잉머신을 타는 실내 조정경기 선수는 줄을 당겨 필름을 앞으로 이동시킨다. 시간을 저어 나아가는 선수의 몸의 감각과 필름 영상의 촉각적 심상을 연결한다.

This year, I made my first video work on 16mm film at Space Cell. I am in dialogue with film as a medium.

올해 스페이스셀에서 16mm 필름으로 영상 작업을 처음 만들었다. 필름이라는 매체와 대화하고 있다.
