Description

Made at the London Film-Makers’ Co-operative in Fitzroy Road, Camden Town. The building served as a canteen to the adjoining piano factory. The film originated as a site-specific work made for an evening of three-minute films, and was screened at dusk alongside the window through which it was shot. The image of windows fades gradually to white, the result of altering the print exposure on the 16mm contact printer that was housed in the adjacent room.

캠던 타운 피츠로이 로드에 있던 런던 필름메이커스 코퍼러티브에서 제작되었다. 이 건물은 옆 피아노 공장의 식당으로 사용되던 곳이었다. 이 작품은 3분 길이 영화 상영회를 위해 제작된 장소 특정적(site-specific) 작업으로, 촬영했던 바로 그 창문 옆에서 해질 무렵 상영되었다. 창문의 이미지는 점차 흰색으로 사라지는데, 이는 옆방에 있던 16mm 콘택트 프린터에서 인화 노출을 조정한 결과이다.
