Description

The passage of late afternoon sun across a mantelpiece during the course of an hour or more, recorded in time-lapse at the rate of one frame per second. The weight on the metronome arm is adjusted periodically during filming to alter the phasing of the two spring-wound mechanisms—one in the camera, one in the metronome.

한 시간 이상에 걸쳐 벽난로 선반 위를 가로지르는 늦은 오후의 햇빛을 초당 한 프레임의 타임랩스로 기록했다. 촬영 도중 메트로놈 추의 위치를 계속 조정하여, 카메라와 메트로놈이라는 두 개의 태엽 장치가 서로 다른 위상으로 움직이도록 만들었다.
