Crashouts, manifestation influencers and injury lawyers collide in this breakneck ride through the American Midwest. 50 years after attorney ads were first legalized in the U.S., their ubiquitous self-portraits (allegedly) invoke a churn-and-burn economy of volume, velocity, fears and veneers.

Bio

Eislow Johnson is a filmmaker, sound designer/mixer and educator from Skokie, Illinois. His practice engages with cinema as a sound art and a way of navigating and responding to the world's vibration and instability. His films have screened at Prismatic Ground, L'Alternativa, UnionDocs, Cinemateca Nacional del Ecuador, Antimatter Media Art, Light Matter Film Festival, and Cosmic Rays Film Festival. He is a co-founder of Great Lakes Listening Series and an Arts Fellow in the Department of Film and Media at Emory University.

아일슬로 존슨은 일리노이주 스코키 출신의 영화감독이자 사운드 디자이너/믹서, 교육자다. 그는 영화를 하나의 '소리 예술'이자 세계의 진동과 불안정성을 탐색하고 이에 반응하는 방식으로 다룬다. 그의 영화들은 프리즈매틱 그라운드(Prismatic Ground), 랄테르나티바(L'Alternativa), 유니온독스(UnionDocs), 에콰도르 국립시네마테크, 안티매터 미디어 아트, 라이트 매터 영화제, 코스믹 레이즈 영화제 등에서 상영되었다.
