Description

Geology, animals and the human path flow into this subjective portrait of Portuguese landscapes. Between 2018 and 2023,

I came across different regions and places in this country, either alone or with a group of artists and eco-activists. The footage was shot on the fringes of these groups' work and activities, reflecting and revealing themes such as nature conservation, ethnography, agriculture or actions against gentrification. The rhythm of the film is determined by the Bolex camera, but is rather slow and contemplative, aligning the film with the contemporary idea of slowing down.

혼자 또는 예술가 및 환경 운동가 그룹과 함께 포르투갈의 여러 지역과 장소를 방문했다. 영상은 자연 보호, 민족지학, 농업 또는 젠트리피케이션에 반대하는 행동과 같은 주제를 반영하고 드러내는 이러한 그룹의 작업과 활동의 주변부에서 촬영되었다. 영화의 리듬은 롤렉스 카메라에 의해 결정되지만, 느리고 관조적으로 느림에 대한 현대적 발상에 상응한다.

Bio

Ewelina Rosinska (born in Poland) has an MA in Art History and studied at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin (dffb). Her films have been screened at the Courtisane Festival in Gent, the International Film Festival Rotterdam IFFR and First Look at the Museum of Moving Image in New York, among others. Rosinska's work "Ashes by Name is Man" won the BEST EXiS AWARD at the EXiS Experimental Film and Video Festival in Seoul 2023 and was nominated for the GERMAN SHORT FILM AWARD 2023. Her recent film "Unstable Rocks" premiered at doc lisboa international filmfestival 2024. She is currently holding a Berlin Senate Scholarship, working on her next films and dividing her life between Portugal and Germany.

아멜리나 로진스카(폴란드 태생)는 미술사 석사 학위를 취득하고 베를린의 독일 영화 및 텔레비전 아카데미(dffb)에서 공부했다. 그녀의 영화는 겐트의 쿠르티잔 페스티벌, 로테르담 국제 영화제 IFFR, 뉴욕의 무빙 이미지 박물관 퍼스트 룩 등에서 상영되었다. 로진스카의 작품 'Ashes by Name is Man'은 2023 서울 EXiS 실험영화 및 비디오 페스티벌에서 최우수 EXiS상을 수상했으며, 2023 독일 단편영화상 후보에 올랐다. 그녀의 최근 영화 'Unstable Rocks'는 2024년 doc lisboa 국제 영화제에서 초연되었다. 현재 베를린 상원 장학금을 받으며 차기작을 작업 중이며 포르투갈과 독일을 오가며 생활하고 있다.
