Description
A man searches for memories of his family's past, alternating between Geomeunyeo and Buseok Temple, and his grandmother's house, which are located in a straight line on the map.

Geomeunyeo is a rock located in the reclaimed area of Buseok, Seosan and was originally a reef that was exposed above the sea level, but is now above ground. The name of Buseok, which means floating rock, is said to be derived from Geomeunyeo.

한 남자가 자신들의 가족들의 과거의 기억을 찾아다닌다. 그는 지도 상에 일직선상으로 위치한 검은여와 부석사, 그 사이에 있는 할머니의 집을 번갈아 다닌다.

검은여는 서산시 부석면의 간척지에 위치한 바위로 원래는 해수면 위로 드러난 암초였으나 현재는 땅 위에 있다. 뜬 돌이라는 뜻을 가진 부석면의 이름은 검은여에서 따온 것으로 전해진다.

Director’s Bio

He makes films with Super 8, 16mm, and digital, exploring the play of light, personal things, and nature. Along with his colleagues, he organizes independent film screenings in Seoul on a non-regular basis. He translates films for film festivals and cinematheques.

그는 Super 8, 16mm, 디지털을 사용해 영화를 제작하며 빛, 개인 사물, 자연의 유희를 탐구한다. 그는 동료들과 함께 비정기적으로 서울에서 독립영화 상영회를 조직하고 있다. 그는 영화제와 시네마테크에서  영화를 번역하기도 한다..
