Ethiopia Project was inspired by the personal records and poems by Ko Chang-soo, the former ambassador of Ethiopia. The director poetically portrays the scenery of Ethiopia that was visited twenty years ago and the process of approaching the local citizens.

Kim Gye-joong earned both BFA and MFA at the California Institute of the Arts.
