Reflection, Diffraction, and Refraction are the basic physical characteristics of lens which is made of glass. This experimental film, GLASS ACTIVITIES is an aesthetical transformation of my emotional point of view through the found (glass) objects. Based on my real experience of the long winter time in upstate New York, , I tried to create subtle emotions of depicting a passage of my life using abstract images created by characteristics of glass object, and the collaboration of diegetic sound and metaphorical muteness.

Producer/director/cinematographer Wook Steven Heo received a BA in Business from Sogang University in Seoul. After working as a TV documentary director for 6 years, he moved to the US and received an MFA degree in Film at Syracuse University in New York. His unique short films and documentaries that deal with the theme of identity and cross cultural experience, have been exhibited internationally including Japan, Germany and France. Wook Steven Heo lives with his wife and two sons in Seoul, Korea. He has been a film production instructor since 2003 at various film schools, including Syracuse University, University of Nevada Las Vegas. He is currently an EX-iS Programmer and an Assistant Professor in the Film Department at Yongin University.
